I am building the resource I wish existed when I started on my JK.
Who writes this
My name is Allan Perrottet. I own a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and I am working through it one job at a time. This site is where I keep what I learn on the way, so the next person searching the same question does not have to start where I did.
Why I started this
If you have ever tried to research JK modifications, you know the pain: forum threads that go in circles, videos with ten minutes of preamble for thirty seconds of useful information, and review sites that clearly never touched the products they recommend.
I wanted something better. Clear answers, specifications that are actually correct, and recommendations that say what they are based on.
How these guides are made, honestly
Most of what is here is research, not hands-on testing. I have one Jeep and one garage. I read the manuals, the fitment charts and the manufacturer specifications, I compare what owners report across forums and groups, and I write up what the evidence supports. Where I have fitted a part to my own JKU, I say so in the article.
I am telling you this because the alternative is to imply a hundred products passed through my hands, and they did not. A guide is useful when you know what it is built on.
I update things. Prices change, products get discontinued and better options appear. I revisit guides rather than leaving them to rot.
I stay narrow. This is not a generic car site. It covers the Jeep Wrangler JK, 2007 to 2018, and nothing else. That focus is what lets it go deeper than sites trying to cover everything.
How this site makes money
Affiliate links. When you buy something through a link here, I may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra and it does not change what I recommend. I would rather lose the commission than send you to a part that does not fit.
Advertising. Some pages carry ads, which help cover hosting and the time this takes.
I do not accept payment for positive coverage.
Still early
This is a young project and I am adding to it steadily. If there is something you want covered, or you spot an error in a guide, I would genuinely like to know. The JK community is what makes these things worth owning.
